Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Association Press Conference

Skippack fire company was happy to participate in the Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Association press conference at the Montgomery County Fire Academy on Thursday evening. They have a new grant to assist fire companies in recruiting new volunteers, to purchase uniforms and gear, completing new firefighter physicals and training. Called 250 Strong: Save & Serve, over 80 Montgomery County fire companies have set a goal to collectively recruit 250 new volunteer firefighters by the end of 2027.
