| Skippack fire company was happy to participate in the Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Association press conference at the Montgomery County Fire Academy on Thursday evening. They have a new grant to assist fire companies in recruiting new volunteers, to purchase uniforms and gear, completing new firefighter physicals and training. Called 250 Strong: Save & Serve, over 80 Montgomery County fire companies have set a goal to collectively recruit 250 new volunteer firefighters by the end of 2027.
