Did you know? The sides of a ladder are referred to as the 'beam'; the bottom as the 'butt' and the top is the 'tip'?

We train on Thursdays, and this week was a review of ladder tips, tricks and techniques as well as the mental and physical repetition. So for old, and new, 'throwing ladders" is an important training regimen for muscle memory and maintaining
physical conditioning.

Associated skills practiced were, assisting a victim (conscious or unconscious) down the ladder and taking a -roof ladder- up to deploy on a roof.

We encourage you to read, understand and follow the setup, care and use of any ladder. If you want to know more, there's an app for that! NIOSH Ladder Safety App. See attached flyer.
