Skippack firefighters were busy this week with a number of incidents and our Touch-a-Truck event.

Thank you to all of the community members who came out to Touch-a-Truck and helped make it such a wonderful event! And thank you as well to the agencies and businesses that came out with their trucks including the Montgomery County Sheriffs, Whitetail Disposal, McCauley Tree Service, Strouse Landscaping, Source One Auto Group, Transfleet Concrete, the Perkiomen Library Bookmobile, Bux-Mont Roller Derby, Action Karate, Skippack Township, Worcester Volunteer Fire Department, Bridgeport Fire Department, Perkiomen Township Fire Company, and Skippack Emergency Medical Services.

SFC also responded to three woods/tree fires and a vehicle accident, which can be seen in some of the attached images. Please take precautions to prevent wood and brush fires in these dry conditions.
