Skippack Fire Company responded to an accident at Bridge Road and Wingate Drive at 8:42 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Crews worked to keep the scene safe, managed fluid spills, and cleaned up debris.
A second accident later in the day required helicopter transport for an injured patient at around 5:45 p.m. One officer assisted with instructions to help the helicopter locate the landing zone, which the crew set up using cones. The tanker truck remained on standby in case a water supply was needed. Crews shut down Route 73 for a lengthy time so PSP could do their investigation.
