Just before 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon, Skippack Fire Company was dispatched to a barn fire on Bustard Road in Worcester. Upon arrival, Chief 86 found the barn fully involved in flames and took initial command of the scene. Squad 86 was part of a 2500' 5" supply line laid by us, Worcester and Towamencin Fire Company trucks to establish a water supply from the nearest hydrant. Crews supported various on-site operations, used absorbent booms to protect nearby waterways, and helped clean up a large quantity of 5-inch hose. Crews returned to Skippack around 3:30 p.m.
