Skippack firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at Wingate Drive and Bridge Road on Friday afternoon. They controlled traffic, cleaned up debris, moved the car out of the traffic lane and quickly reopened the road.
On Saturday morning Skippack firefighters responded to a two-vehicle accident in Perkiomen Township. One of the drivers was trapped ,and working with Perkiomen, crews removed doors and the roof so the driver could be removed from the car. Once the rescue was complete, crews cleaned up the scene and returned to the station to clean and refuel all of the tools used on scene.
