On Friday Skippack firefighters responded to two calls. The first was on Hollywood Drive where firefighters assisted EMS with carrying the driver of a car over uneven terrain to the waiting ambulance. Then, later that afternoon they headed to New Hanover to assist in fire extinguishment with both Utility 86 and ATV 86. Tanker 86 stood by ready to refill any trucks that needed water on scene.
We are now in brush fire season, where small fires can grow quickly. Please refrain from outdoor fires until there is substantial rain to prevent fires that can endanger your property and that of your neighbors.
