On Thursday evening, we continued our vehicle rescue training scenarios, focusing on cutting and spreading vehicle structures to access the interior compartment. Training officers introduced the challenge of a vehicle on its side, which added complexity due to the need for stabilization before any work could begin. In the afternoon Squad 86 responded to a large fire at Hatfield Village Apartments where they performed fire suppression and overhaul, returning in time to clean up their equipment and grab a quick shower and dinner before vehicle rescue training started.
