After spending the night in the rain at a fire in Lower Frederick, Skippack Fire Company responded to a vehicle rescue in the snow in Skippack Village. Responders found the driver of one vehicle trapped with serious injuries. Crews quickly stabilized the vehicle and began to remove the car from around the trapped driver. Skippack FFs removed the driver's door and lifted the dash off the victim and had the driver freed within 15 minutes of arriving on scene. Firefighters then assisted Skippack EMS with patient removal. Harleysville Fire Police provided traffic control assistance.
