Skippack firefighters were dispatched to a house fire on Justin Ct. late Thursday morning. Chief 86 arrived on scene and requested the working fire dispatch with smoke from the chimney and an exterior wall of the house. Crews found fire on the first floor, basement and outside of the chimney. A water supply was established from the fire hydrant and crews from Skippack and Perkiomen made a quick knockdown of the fire inside. After checking for fire extension and assisting the fire marshal, Skippack crews returned all equipment to service around 2 pm. Thanks to Skippack Emergency Medical Services for watching out for the well being of the firefighters on scene.
