Skippack crews were dispatched to a building fire just after 7 am on Sunday. Crews were quickly able to extinguish the fire before it spread to neighboring townhouse units. Perkiomen Township Fire Company, Worcester Volunteer Fire Department assisted on scene and Lower Providence Fire Company served as the Rapid Intervention Team. EMS support was provided by Freedom Valley Medical Rescue. All crews cleared the scene around 8:30.
