Three Morning Calls

January 6, 2023

Skippack Fire Company was dispatched to three separate calls this morning. The first occurred at 12:31 AM due to a small fire associated with downed power lines on Kratz Rd. After confirmation that the power lines were no longer energized, crews extinguished the fire. Shortly after returning to the station we were dispatched with Harleysville Community Fire Company for a vehicle rescue in Lower Salford with an automobile off the road and on its side. We stabilized the vehicle and assisted with patient extrication and clean up of debris. The third call came at 7:12 AM on Bridge Rd in the area of Mary Ellen Ln. due to a large tree that fell across the road. Our crews quickly cut up the tree and removed it from the driving lanes so traffic could resume.
