It was a busy day for crews in Skippack with two electrical fire calls around 2:30 in the afternoon. Then, around 5:00 pm, they responded to a traffic accident with a stubborn vehicle fire. Despite the heavy rain, the fire was persistent as it was deep in the engine compartment. Firefighters had to dismantle part of the car to access the seat of the fire.
