Skippack crews were called to a reported structure fire on Sunday morning, which turned out to be a mulch/tree fire next to a deck. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the active fire and prevent spread to the building. Dry weather brings the risk of brush and mulch fires. Skippack Fire Company appreciates the assistance of Skippack Emergency Services, Worcester Volunteer Fire Department and Harleysville Community Fire Company as well as their own members for coming out to help on a holiday weekend.
