May 10th was a busy day for us with four calls for service including two traffic accidents. Just after midnight we assisted Skippack Emergency Medical Services with establishing a helicopter landing zone for an injured patient. At lunchtime we responded to a report of arcing wires against a branch on Store Road. The first accident was at the intersection of Skippack Pike and Cressman Road around 6 pm. The fourth call was a two-car accident in the village on Skippack Pike less than an hour and a half later. One utility pole was severed causing wires to droop across the road. After removal of the car, PENNDOT closed the road.
