On Wednesday night members of Skippack Fire Company and Upper Gwynedd Fire Department joined Worcester Volunteer Fire Department for a joint training session in Worcester. Members had the opportunity to see the rescue equipment used by other companies followed by hands on stabilization and work with hydraulic tools in vehicle rescue scenarios. Our new Captain, Kyle Merkel, and new Lieutenant, Leigh Kelly were in attendance. Congratulations on your new appointments and thank you to Worcester Fire Company for inviting us to this training exercise. April's training in Skippack focuses on vehicle rescue training so this was great preparation for our upcoming rescue scenario drills!
