It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Life Member Wilson "Skip" Dickey Jr. Life Member Dickey Jr. joined the Skippack Fire Company on May 1, 1959. In his 62 years with the Skippack Fire Company, he served the fire company faithfully as a firefighter and held the office of Skippack Fire Company Assistant Engineer from 1970 through 1974.

In his time with the Skippack Fire Company Dickey Jr. responded to 1158 calls for service. This call total currently ranks 41st in all-time responses, according to Skippack Fire Company records. He was also the 1994 and 2002 recipient of the Skippack Fire Company Engineer's Award and in 1993 the Skippack Fire Company Recognition Award for Meritorious Service.
