Skippack Fire Company joined with Forever Young Veterans and others in a salute to WWII Veterans this morning.

Ladder 86 with the American flag over Bridge Road, served as a passing point as 10 veterans of WWII were escorted from Blue Comet Motorcycle Club to the WWII Reading Air Show. These men and women were escorted by the Pennsylvania State Police, Blue Comet Motorcycle Club and Warriors Watch.

The Reading World War Two Weekend is one of the largest WWII events/airshows in the country. Set in Reading, Pennsylvania, they have reenactors from numerous parts of the war (The European Theatre, the Pacific Theatre), veteran talks, singing, a hangar dance, and a great selection of WWII planes.

The Skippack Fire Company honors all of our service men and women, veterans and active duty, as well as their families. Thank you for your service and sacrifices.
