Today is National Move Over day. National Move Over Day began in 2014 by the Arizona Professional Towing Association to help raise public awareness to the Move Over Law. All 50 states have enacted “Move Over” laws with the first law enacted in 1996 when Paramedic James Garcia was struck & critically injured while assisting at an accident scene in South Carolina.

When you see Fire and EMS, Police, Tow truck operators, Maintenance workers, and others operating on a roadway. Please Slow Down and Move Over!
