Skippack Fire Company was dispatched for a structure fire late Friday night at 22:59. The box for the 4000 block of Skippack Pike, came as an alert neighbor noticed a fire at their neighbors house across the street. Skippack Emergency Medical Services Chief 336 arrived on scene and confirmed a fire at the "C/D" corner of the two story residence, at 23:04. Chief 86 arrived on scene at 23:05 and establish command and declared a working fire. All residents of the home were able to evacuate prior to the fire companies arrival.

Ladder 86 (with the Battalion) arrived on scene at 23:05 and deployed two lines to the structure. Squad 86 (with the Assistant) arrived on scene a short time later and laid in from the hydrant to supply the Ladder. Command reported that the bulk of the fire was knocked down at 23:18 and crews were checking for extension. He reported the fire under control at 23:21.

Additional Skippack units on scene included: Captain, Special Service and Utility 86. Skippack Fire Company was assisted on the call by: Station 53 Lower Providence Township Fire Department, Station 66 Perkiomen Township Fire Company, Station 89 Harleysville Fire Company, Skippack Emergency Medical Services and VMSC of Lansdale. The Pennsylvania Station Police Fire Marshal is investigating the origin of the fire.

All Skippack Fire Company units returned to the station by 00:01 Saturday.
