Skippack Fire Company saw two members graduate Wednesday night from the Montgomery County Fire Academy. Firefighters Kyle Merkel and Josh Taylor graduated from the Pennsylvania Entry Level Firefighter One program with 23 other firefighters from around the area, as Class 1902.

Firefighter Merkel received the class Interior Firefighter Award for his efforts through the program.

These two graduates bring to a total of ten, Skippack Fire Company firefighters to graduate the Firefighter One program this year.

All the graduates were recognized Monday night at the Skippack Fire Companies monthly meeting. Members enjoyed a graduation cake also, to celebrate their accomplishments.
