Skippack Fire Extricate One In Crash

Skippack Fire Company was dispatched to a single vehicle accident Tuesday morning at 10:54. While enroute Chief 86 upgraded the assignment to a vehicle rescue on the additional report of a person trapped. He also requested Perkiomen Township Fire Company be added to the job.

The Chief arrived on-scene at 11:02 and reported one occupant of the car still in the vehicle on its side.

Crews extricated the driver of the car and Command 86 reported the rescue was complete at 11:17. The patient refused medical treatment.

Units on scene from Skippack Fire Company included Chief, Battalion, Captain, Squad, Special Service and Utility 86. In addition to Station 66, Trappe Fire Company Ambulance, Skippack Emergency Medical Services and the Pennsylvania State Police were on-scene assisting.

All units were made available by 11:47.
