Skippack Fire Company was dispatched to a structure fire Friday afternoon at 16:38. The call brought Skippack fire fighters to a residence in the 700 block of Daniel Drive.

The Montgomery County Communications Center reported a fire within an office of the residential structure. Skippack Assistant Chief arrived on scene a reported a working fire at 16:41.

In addition to the Assistant Chief; the Deputy Chief, Engine, Tanker and Utility 86 took in the job. Crews from Perkiomen Township Fire Company, Collegeville Fire Company, Lower Providence Fire Company, Worcester Fire Company and Skippack Emergency Medical Services assisted on scene.

First arriving crews quickly knocked down the fire and checked for extension. Damage was limited because the homeowner closed the door to the fire room as she exited the structure and the fire companies quick knock.
