| Skippack Fire Company responded to a house fire on Morris Road in Lower Salford at 7:41 am this morning. Squad 86 arrived as the second engine on the scene and laid 1,600 feet of hose from a nearby hydrant to supply water to the fire scene. Chief 86 provided assistance with command operations, while the crew of Squad 86 focused on assisting with extinguishment of a fire located in the basement of the home. The fire was placed under control at 8:25 am. Skippack was released from the scene just before 10 am where they will still need to clean equipment and gear before returning to work and home. |
