| Training doesn't stop just because it is hot and humid. Skippack firefighters participated in two training sessions this week. The first session, held on Thursday, was week one of vehicle rescue training. During this exercise, the crew efficiently removed the doors and roof from a sedan, taking breaks as needed to rehydrate and cool off. Thank you to Source One Auto Group for providing the car. The second was when we joined with Bridgeport at our burn building on Saturday morning. We were grateful for a little lessl humidity and a breeze as we cycled through interior operations where we did both searches and fire suppression, with plenty of breaks to hydrate, cool off and have a snack.
