| Skippack Fire Company was able to assist with some great edutainment today!
We helped the Deep Creek Learning Center students test their team’s package protection inventions. Using our aerial ladder, we dropped their egg-protected packages from ever-increasing heights.
They weren’t yolking around — many designs performed quite well! Three survived drops over 60 feet, and one impressive package made it safely to the ground from approximately 85 feet! Their designs didn’t crack under pressure!

While we were there we even managed to fix their flag pole so they could display their flag again. |
