Last evening, firefighters practiced using the roof simulation prop to replicate roof cuts for inspection and ventilation training

To increase realism, a hay fire was ignited beneath the prop, producing heat, smoke, and flames and requiring firefighters to use full protective equipment throughout the exercise.

These hands-on trainings are held every Thursday night and help ensure skills remain relevant and challenging. Community members are welcome to stop by during training nights to observe, and the department is always looking for new individuals interested in supporting our mission.
