Hose Training

The final training session in April focused on both hose evaluation and hose handling skills. During the exercise, firefighters tested various hose and nozzle combinations and measured the flow rates and pressures for each setup. Crews also compared the effectiveness of different water streams, including their reach. While at the station, firefighters examined how new hose options fit into each type of compartment in comparison to the hoses currently in use.
