| Skippack firefighters were dispatched to a building fire around 3 am on Thursday morning. They arrived to find a fully involved shed behind a house on Hildebeitel Rd. The shed was quickly extinguished with mutual aid support from Collegeville Fire Company and Perkiomen Township Fire Company. Skippack Emergency Medical Services also supported the firefighters. Crews stayed on scene for another hour pulling apart the fallen shed to extinguish hot spots and to prevent stray embers from starting a field/brush fire as vegetation is still dry. |
