On Friday night Skippack firefighters were able to get in some boat and water rescue practice in the East Branch of the Perkiomen. One crew focused on boat skills while a separate crew stood by as downstream safety. They tested strategies in night operations including lighting, communications and coordinated boat maneuvers. When the crew returned to the station they worked together for some quick clean up to be ready for their next call.
