Skippack firefighters were first dispatched to a gas odor investigation on Scwendt Lane. Less than an hour later they responded to a two-car accident on Skippack Pike near Voit Dr. Crews directed traffic, cleaned up debris and fluids and kept the scene safe as multiple ambulances arrived and transported patients. Once the cars were towed, firefighters returned to their station.
