| Skippack Fire Company will host it’s 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck event on June 7th, 2025 from 10am to 2pm at Skippack Elementary School.
Get up close and personal with fire trucks, ambulances, and more! This fun, family-friendly event lets kids (and adults!) explore emergency, construction, public service and utility vehicles and more. Climb aboard, and meet our first responders along with other community members, like contractors, and township employees.
What is it? Touch-a-Truck offers hands-on learning about public safety vehicles and many other oft seen 'cool' trucks. Why do we do it? It’s a chance to build community connections, inspire young minds, and promote fire safety and volunteerism. Bring the whole family for a day of smiles, and surprises!
This year we have confirmations from the Montgomery County Sheriff, McCauley Tree Service, Refresh A Can, Skippack Township, Transfleet, Agostino Utilities, Source One, an Eagles special operations vehicle, Hedgehog Grill and the 4-H Dairy Club Ice Cream Truck! We will have lots of emergency trucks there including those from Skippack Fire Company, Skippack Emergency Medical Services and North Penn Goodwill, which is a company that provides food and restrooms to emergency scenes.
