Welcome to the Official Website for the Skippack Fire Company
The Skippack Fire Company is a 100% volunteer organization, responding to 297 calls for service in 2023. The Skippack Fire Company operates out of one station, which provides primary fire and rescue protection to the residents and businesses of Skippack Township and those visiting and traveling through town.
125th Anniversary Banquet
September 15
Last night members of Skippack Fire Company and special guests came together to celebrate 125 years of service. Stories were told as a slideshow of recent and historical pictures played on the screen. Guests had the opportunity to feed giraffes, visit exhibits and see Noah the eagle up close. Touch-a-Truck and Jalen Hurts Helmet Raffle
September 13
Next weekend, on Saturday, September 21st from 10-2 we will be hosting our Touch-a-Truck Event at Skippack Elementary. We are expecting lots of trucks including a garbage truck, crane, log truck, roll off with mini excavator, plow truck, backhoe and lots of fire trucks. Commemorating Patriot Day
September 11
Today we remember those who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Americans should display their flags at half staff to honor those we lost and should observe a moment of silence at 8:46 am EST, which is the moment the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Burn Building Training
September 07
Now that the burn building repairs are complete Skippack and other local companies can once again hold valuable live fire training. Last week Thursday Worcester Volunteer Department invited Skippack firefighters to train with them practicing hoseline advancement, search and ventilation.
