Today is National EMT and Paramedic Recognition Day in commemoration of the first Ambulance call in 1967. Skippack Fire Company works side-by-side with many medical responders, including our local Skippack Emergency Medical Services. Today we pause to thank all of you for what you do for the public and the support you give to us on fire and rescue scenes; standing by if we are injured and setting up rehabilitation facilities.
