Skippack Fire Company was dispatched as a mutual aid response with Perkiomen Township Fire Company this morning at 06:47, for a detached garage on fire.

The box brought Chief, Squad and Utility (with the Battalion) 86 to the 100 block of Maple Avenue in Perkiomen. Captain 66 arrived on scene and reported a garage, “well off with exposures”. Engine 66 arrived quickly to knock down the bulk of the fire.

A car in the front of the garage and the side of the house suffered minor heat damage in the blaze also.

Skippack crews assisted on scene till being released by Command 66 at 07:32.
