Skippack Fire Company responded to a leaking propane tank in a food truck in the 4000 block of Skippack Pike Wednesday evening. The box came in at 19:20 and saw Chief, Deputy and Assistant 86 respond with the Engine, Tanker and Fire Police. Chief 86 arrived on scene and found a 60lb. propane tank in the truck leaking from the fill valve. The tank was 1/2 full upon arrival. Crews worked to secure the area and then reset the valve stopping the leak. Crews received assistance from Station 83 Worcester Fire Company and an ambulance from Skippack Emergency Medical Services was on scene standing by. Air monitoring was conducted throughout the operation by crews and verified clear once the leak was stopped. All crews were released at 21:01
