Skippack Fire Company was dispatched to assist Station 76 Towamencin Fire Company at 01:39 on New Year's Day on a working structure fire. The initial call for service for Station 76 came at 01:34 reporting a fire in the bedroom with the possibility of entrapment. Additional reports to the Montgomery County Communications Center reported flames through the roof.

Skippack units responding on the box included, Chief, Deputy and the Assistant Chief, Engine, Tanker and Utility 86. Skippack units assisted with overhaul while on scene. The fire was placed under control by Command 76 at 02:28. All Skippack units returned to the township by 05:14.
