Skippack Fire Company was dispatched at 19:43 Saturday evening to assist Station 98, Royersford Fire Department on a commercial building fire.

Crews responded to the 400 block of 1st Avenue in Royersford Borough as the RIT on the upgraded assignment. Chief, Squad (with the Assistant Chief and Lieutenant), Special Service (with the Battalion Chief) and Utility 86 responded.

Crews from Skippack Fire also worked to assist with ventilation and interior hazard identification and ensured containment.

Skippack crews returned to the township at 21:35.
