Skippack Fire Company was dispatched for a residential structure fire Wednesday night at 20:57. The call for service in the 700 block of Crestview Blvd reported a garage fire in a garage attached to the house.

Chief 86 arrived on scene at 21:01 and reported a smoke condition in the garage. Crews limited the fire damage to the rear wall area of the garage. The fire was reported out at 21:13 and crews checked for extension and ventilated the home.

Skippack units responding with the Chief included, Engine (with the Battalion Chief and Lieutenant), Rescue and Tanker 86.

Skippack crews were assisted on scene by Skippack Emergency Medical Services, Perkiomen Township Fire Company and Trappe Fire Company.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. All companies were available by 22:21.
