Skippack Fire Company responded this afternoon to assist Station 98 Royersford Fire Department on a apparent building fire. The original call for Station 98 came in at 16:21 reporting smoke coming from an apartment on the 400 block of 2nd Avenue in Royersford.

Skippack crews were dispatched as the RIT company at 16:25. Chief, Rescue (with Battalion Chief), Utility (with Assistant Chief) 86 responded on the box. All Skippack crews returned to the township at 17:12.

This is the fourth structure fire Skippack crews have responded to in the last five days. On Wednesday, crews were dispatched to three structure boxes:

400 block N 3rd Street, Royersford- 10:54

700 Wheatland Street, Chester County- 11:21

200 block Kathleen Circle, Lower Salford Township- 16:00
