Skippack Fire Company was dispatched to a vehicle fire 15 feet from the structure this afternoon at 14:03. The call for service in the 800 block of Appaloosa Drive brought the Battalion Chief, Engine (with the Captain) and Tanker 86 to the scene.

Battalion 86 arrived on scene and reported a fully involved engine compartment fire. Crews extinguished the vehicle and surrounding vegetation.

All crews returned to the station within 50 minutes.
