Skippack Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle fire at the scene of a crash this afternoon at 16:41. The call for service at the intersection of Perkiomen Creek Road and Deer Run Road brought the Chief, Deputy Chief, Engine, Rescue and Tanker 86 to the scene. Arriving crews determined there was no fire, secured power to the vehicle and turned the scene over to PSP. All Skippack Fire Company crews returned to service within twenty minutes of the initial dispatch.
